This conference aims at reviewing a highly important subject for the European Union: the characteristics and workings of law systems in relation to timely proceedings, with specific focus on Italy and Romania.  The organisers and moderators of this event will try to deliver an objective analysis, stemming from examples and long-term practice in the field, in both countries. 

Corruption will also be one of the discussed themes in the debates as one of the main sources of the economic crisis. The issues of transparency and lack of means to correctly and timely prosecute the guilty in such cases will be also on the agenda.

The speakers taking part in the event are world known experts and professionals in their respective fields, namely magistrates, NGOs activists as well as investigative journalists.
