The ALDE New Year seminar on "Eurobonds - Stability and Growth for the Euro area?" will be led by ALDE President, Guy Verhofstadt, and ALDE ECON Coordinator and EP rapporteur for the EP report on Eurobonds, Mrs Sylvie Goulard, MEP. The Vice President of the European Commission, Mr Olli Rehn, will give the keynote speech. 

It will be followed by a discussion of the topic by an expert panel and from the audience. 

The seminar will not only discuss the different views on Eurobonds but also the different options and possible alternatives. The overall aim of the seminar is to identify what kind of policies would foster stability and growth to the Euro area and what role Eurobonds can play.
