At the Summit at Rostov-on-Don on May 31 - June 1, 2010 the European Union and Russia launched a Partnership for Modernisation to the mutual benefit of their citizens. This debate intends to assess the latest developments in the EU-Russia relations by giving an overview of the latest progress with regard to Partnership for Modernisation as well as of the main challenges. The panellists include Knut Fleckenstein, MEP, Chair of the EU-Russia delegation; Werner Schulz, Vice-Chair of the EU-Russia delegation; Vladimir Chizhov, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the EU; Vadim Klyuvgant, trial lawyer of Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Andrew Rettman, senior correspondent. The debate is organised and moderated by Kristiina Ojuland, MEP.
